How It Works

Type or paste your URL or text and the QR code appears instantly. Pick an error-correction level and set your foreground and background colors (or switch on a gradient). Open Advanced Options to change the body shape (square, rounded or dots), style the corner eyes, add a center logo, and add a caption like "SCAN ME". Choose a PNG size and download as PNG for sharing or SVG for print and large-format use. Always scan the final code with a phone camera to confirm it works before publishing.

When to Use It

Use it to link printed materials to a website — posters, flyers, business cards, packaging, menus and signage. Is this QR code generator free, and do the codes expire?

It's completely free and the codes never expire. The QR image encodes your URL or text directly, so there is no tracking redirect that could be switched off — it will keep working as long as the destination exists.

What's the difference between the error-correction levels?

Error correction lets a scanner read the code even if part of it is dirty, damaged or covered. Low recovers about 7% of the code, Medium ~15%, Quarter ~25% and High ~30%. Use High if you plan to place a logo over the center or print on a rough surface; use Low for the smallest, densest code.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

Use PNG for websites, social posts and quick sharing. Use SVG for printing — it's a vector, so it stays razor-sharp at any size, from a business card to a billboard.

Can I change the colors?

Yes. You can set custom foreground and background colors or apply a two-color gradient, and give the corner eyes their own color. For reliable scanning, keep strong contrast — a dark code on a light background works best, and avoid inverting (light code on dark) for older scanners.

Can I add my logo to the QR code?

Yes. Upload a logo in Advanced Options and it's placed in the center on a clean backing. Error correction is automatically raised to High so the code stays scannable, but keep the logo to around 20–25% of the code and always test-scan before printing.

Can I use rounded dots or custom corner shapes?

Yes. You can switch the body modules between square, rounded and dot styles, and independently set the shape of the corner eye frames and centers for a branded look — all while keeping the code fully scannable.

Is my data private?

Yes. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser with no server calls, so your links and text never leave your device.
